Man City Plans Fresh Sanchez Raid as Chelsea Recalls Costa

Alexis Sanchez might not feature for the Gunners again if the reports of a fresh bid by Manchester City are to be believed, just as Diego Costa might re-unite with Chelsea.
Manchester City are set to make a £60 million bid for Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez,  The Telegraph  reports.

Pep Guardiola is determined to sign the Chilean attacker in the current transfer window, but Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists he will not be sold. The ex-Barcelona star's contract expires at the end of the season, but City are not prepared to wait.

Lucas Perez is set to complete his move away from Arsenal in the coming days, with an £11 million return to former club Deportivo La Coruna, according to the Daily Mail.

The 28-year-old has failed to establish himself at the Emirates following his transfer last summer, scoring just once in his 11 Premier League appearances.

Perez played no part in the Gunners' opening game of the 2017-18 season, a 4-3 victory over Leicester City, and is on the verge of returning to Spain.

Barcelona have rejected the opportunity to sign Riyad Mahrez from Leicester City, according to TransferMarketWeb .

The Liga giants are on the hunt for additional firepower following the €222 million sale of Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain, with Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho topping their wanted list.

Borussia Dortmund's Ousmane Dembele is also high on the Barca agenda, though the club have no interest in signing wantaway Mahrez this summer.

Wantaway Chelsea forward Diego Costa has been told he must return to training and make himself available for Antonio Conte's first-team, according to The Sun.

The striker has not returned to training as he looks for a move away from Stamford Bridge after Conte reportedly told him he is not needed at the club. Costa has complained that he is being "treated like a criminal" by Chelsea, but he has been told he is in breach of contract by skipping training.

Chelsea are plotting to spend a total of £120 million to bring Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain, Virgil van Dijk and Danny Drinkwater to Stamford Bridge this summer, The Mirror claims.

A £35m bid is set to be launched for Chamberlain, who is out of contract at the Emirates Stadium next summer, while they will push for long-term target Van Dijk and Leicester City midfielder Drinkwater, despite having a bid rejected for the Englishman.
