No one will forget in a hurry the epic rift between rapper Rugged man and his one time
buddy 9ice, which started off as a result of 9ice’s ‘Once Bitten’a song which tells of how is a the singer caught his lover having an affair with many believing that it was a sub directed at Ruggedman and Toni Payne, unfortunately 9ice himself did not do much to dispell the rumors.
Dirty accusations were thrown, headline making statements, several beef tracks to mention a few. Five years down the line, with the anonymity between the two still raging, 9ice finally admits that Ruggedman never slept with Toni Payne.
The “Gongo Aso” crooner made this revelation during his interview with TVC’s Lunch splash yesterday, he also said he and Ruggedman are still not on good terms,
“Ruggedman did not sleep with Toni Payne, he dares not do that” he said, and added “Iyawo ole ni won ma ngba” which means “it is only a lazy man’s wife that can be taken away.”
He further said, “I can’t forgive Ruggedman if he does not apologize to me.” When asked the offence the rapper committed, the singer said, “He interfered in another man’s matter.
