Photos: An 84-year-old man sets up a spectacular Valentine Day message for his wife, 83

84-year-old man, Qiao from Hangzhou, China set up a special Valentine’s Day message for his wife of 67 years. According to the Qianjiang Evening News, Qiao Dewei and Liu Shixiu, 83, hadn’t had a proper wedding ceremony when they tied the knot in the 1940s, and neither had he ever said "I love you" to his wife.

So this Valentine, Qiao decided to tell his wife how much she means to him. He asked his grandson to help set up something special. The young lad turned to a local hotel for help in order to organize a romantic surprise for his grandparents.

On Sunday, February 14, as the Qiao and Liu came together dressed us bridegroom and bride for the first time for a wedding ceremony in the city of Hangzhou, hundreds of lights lit up at a hotel, revealing a message from Qiao which reads "I Love You"
