Man Escapes Death as He Nearly Drives Off Cliff, But Gets Hit by a Bus on Stepping Out of His Car (Photo)

A man survived being killed after he drove off a cliff in his car ran into another life endangering accident. 

The man almost drove off a cliff on a Malibu road, stumbled away from the teetering car, only to get hit by a passing tour bus.

 

A police report showed that the driver lost control of his SUV, slamming it through the guard rail on the windy canyon road. Still disoriented after pulling himself out of the car, he took a few steps out onto the road where he was struck by a tour bus.

 

However, the man was lucky as police responded immediately to save him.

 

The man was treated by California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles County Fire Department before he was transported to a local hospital.

 

Investigation into the accident has begun.

 

“This is another reminder of the need to drive safely through the canyons of our beautiful area and to use extreme caution at the scene of a traffic collision,” sheriff’s officials said.
