The Nigerian Airforce has successfully bombed and destroyed one of Boko Haram's major logistics base and killed many of their members in another successful air raid. The Nigerian Air Force F-7NI Fighter aircraft on Monday, April 11 2016 destroyed the logistics base of Boko Haram at Kangarawa. The whole incident was captured on camera.
According to information it released on its YouTube page, the army said "in continuation of its employment of air-power to decimate the capability of the insurgents, has successfully taken off another logistics base belonging to the Boko Haram Terrorists (BHT) Group.
"The latest air strike was carried out yesterday Monday 11 April 2016 by NAF F-7Ni fighter aircraft against the insurgents’ location at Kangarawa in Northern part of Borno State. The scale of accompanying inferno and multi explosions, as can be seen from the footage of the air strike, suggests that the location possibly houses a fuel or ammunition dump.
"The strike therefore constitutes another major setback for the insurgents, while providing tangible evidence of many of the recent successes recorded by the air component of Operation LAFIYA DOLE."
