A singer has shocked people when he sent a girl flying off the stage after she climbed up to take a selfie. The horrific footage captured the incident while Californian band called The Story So Far were playing a gig at the Mod Club in Toronto on Sunday night.
Midway through a song, a girl came over the barrier at the front and managed to briefly climb on stage where she appeared to be holding her camera phone in a bid to take a picture.
But when frontman Parker Cannon, who is widely renowned for his great pitch and smooth ability for singing, noticed her, he took a run-up before kicking the girl in the back so hard she flew face-first into the crowd.
On the video, cheers can be heard as the band carry on playing.
It is not known if the girl suffered injuries or not, but Mod Club general manager Jorge Dias said the venue had not received any such reports.
He described Cannon's actions as "a very cowardly act".
In a statement he said: "On behalf of the venue we are appalled by the actions of the singer and do not condone these actions by anyone.
"There was no report of injuries and the venue will not allow the band to play the venue again for their actions.
"I have never imagined and never seen anything like that at the venue in 14 years in operation.
"That was a very cowardly act."
Toronto Police told local news station City TV it had received no criminal complaint.
