Rebellious Son Stabs Dad to Death for Demanding Why He Skipped School (Photo)

A heartless and rebellious son has brutally ended his father's life in a dramatic attack after he mercilessly stabbed the man to death. A medical doctor from Homa Bay County in Kenya died at the hospital where he was receiving treatment after he was stabbed over 18 times by his 25-year-old son.

The man identified as Dr Michael Amolo, who until his death was a pediatrician at Aga Khan Hospital in Kisumu, died on Monday at The Mater Hospital in Nairobi where he had been listed in critical condition following the attack by his rebellious son two weeks ago.

It was gathered that the son identified as Dad Junior (DJ), as he is fondly referred to by family members – allegedly stabbed his father 18 times after he demanded to know why he had skipped his exams.

According to Daily Nation, DJ was a student at the Kenya School of Flying at Wilson Airport in Nairobi.

Sources indicated that during a breakfast meeting on April 24, 2016, Dr Amolo, after failing to get a response from his son, walked away towards the backyard but was later followed by DJ, who grabbed him from behind.

The son then reportedly stabbed his father several times using a kitchen knife before attempting to turn it on his elder sister, who ran away and locked herself in a room.

He was later disarmed and handed over to officers from the Lang’ata Police Station.

“It is indeed a tragic affair but I [appeal to the] villagers to restrain themselves as we wait for the law to take its course,” said Ndhiwa OCPD Nixon Makokha after news of the death reached the village.
