The Lagos State Traffic Management Agency which was established to manage the incessant traffic issues in the commercial capital of Nigeria has overtime become a terror to commuters.

Nwogu Precious Iheoma, a Lagosian was apparently left in tears after she witnessed the humiliation of a commercial driver in Lagos yesterday (29th of September, 2016) by some notorious LASTMA officials who were engulfed in a case of mistaken identity and flagrant abuse of office.

According to the young lady, the attack on the hapless commercial driver was not related to any traffic offence but simply on the selfish interest of obtaining N500 bribe - a blatant act of corruption which is the bane of development in Nigeria. This action also negates the foundation principles and ethics of LASTMA as spelt out by the Lagos State Government.
