The Alagbole Under Bridge area of Ogun State has been ravaged by vicious flood that has left behind the destruction of properties and the disruption of businesses. Residents of the Alagbole Under Bridge area of Ogun State are currently hapless and despondent with the spate of heavy rainfall which has caused an unbearable flood situation in the area.
Residents are currently using local boats to create movement routes in the flood. A pained social media user who shared the deplorable photos said:
"Initially, if i was told not to go to work today, i would not accept. Flood became avenue of making money, it was said in Yoruba 'owo lowo, eyin ni le' meaning 'money at hand, be at the back' for those they carry at back.

"Some decided to cross with canoe all because we want to get to work, forgetting the what could be in the water or the disease that could be contacted via the flood. What an unforgettable experience"
A public call is currently being made to responsible government agencies to assist in ameliorating the anomaly that has crippled the economic activities of the area.
