The outspoken Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has taken the statewide ban of grazing to a whole new level after he was pictured supervising the arrest of erring cows who crossed their boundaries. The Special Assistant to Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose on Public Communication and New Media, Lere Olayinka, who shared the photos on social media, narrated the story on his Facebook page and wrote;
"#EkitiAntiGrazing: As Governor Fayose was going to Ikole Ekiti today, he came across herdsmen along Afao Ekiti road, Ado Ekiti.

"The governor demonstrated the seriousness of the State Anti Grazing Law by personally seeing to it that one of the COWS was "arrested" by youths who chased the cows after the herdsmen ran into the bush upon seeing the governor's security men. The remaining cows ran into the bush too.

"Ekiti Grazing Enforcement Marshall (EGEM) will start work in few days time."
