Chai! Read How Igbo Trader, Accomplice Abducted a 5-year-old Muslim Girl in Kaduna State (Photos)

An Igbo trader has gotten himself into more trouble than he can handle after he allegedly abducted a little girl in Kaduna. A female Igbo trader and her accomplice abducted a 5-year-old girl, Zainab Umar, in Kaduna state causing a stir in the area.
 
They have however been apprehended, and the victim rescued.
 
Zainab had attended Islamiyya at Badikko area of the state on March 27 and never returned home.
 
Daily Post reports that the matter was reported at the state Police command and the police had launched a search for the missing minor.
 
 
Governor Nasir el-Rufai of the state had visited the police station earlier and had ordered that the case be handled abruptly.
 
Zainab was, however, found on Saturday. Her unnamed aunt was said to have found her in the Malali area of the state and alerted the police.
 
The Command’s spokesman, ASP Aliyu Usman, who spoke on the incident on Sunday, told newsmen in the state that the victim, fondly called Sultana, was abducted by two suspects, including an Igbo trader named Beatrice.
 
Usman said Beatrice and her partner from Adamawa State are currently being interrogated, adding that as at the time of their arrest, there were five other children with them.

He said one of the victims said he was brought from Lagos.
 
“The abductors insisted that the little girl, Zainab is her daughter, but when police played a game theory on them, they both confessed that they meant no harm to the girl. They said they kidnapped the girl because she was too beautiful,” the spokesperson added.
 
Daily Post reports that while the police are still investigating the suspects, the rescued girl has been united with her folks.
