Mustapha Ahmed Imam and his corpse
The recent vicious attacks on the members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria popularly known as Shiite muslims have left indelible marks of sorrow behind. This is the photo of Mustapha Ahmed Imam, a 300 level student of Mathematics, Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Kaduna State who was killed during the Ashura peaceful protest in the northern state.
According to media reports, the protest went awry and led to a confrontation between the members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria and security operatives.
A couple of protesters lost their lives and others sustained varying degrees of injuries.
