The buffalos mauled the lion nearly to death
A herd of buffalos left many people in great shock after they attacked and mauled a lion who tried to kill a buffalo. A trending video in which buffalos came together and trampled a lion that attacked one of them has shown an unbelievable side of buffalos people do not know about.
In the video, a lion could be seen nearly killing a buffalo it wants to use as meal only for the table to turn against the lion as other buffalos who were watching the freak show suddenly reacted by going after the lion and mauling it. The buffalos ganged up against the now helpless lion and mauled it with their sharp horns as they freed the other buffalo it had wanted to kill.
The video which has since gone viral has been greeted with disbelief as many could not believe that buffalos could stage such solidarity attack against a prey. The lion was left almost dead after the incident.
The footage was taken at the Kruger national park in South Africa .
