A man is being made to pay for his unbelievably criminal act after being found out to have set a woman on fire. Police officers have arrested a man identified as Jacob Anderson, accused of setting a 50-year-old woman on fire Wednesday night.
Larimer County Sheriff’s Office deputies in Colorado were called the 600 block of South County Road 31 at about 9:35 p.m. on a report of a disturbance.
According to 9 News, deputies arrived to find a detached garage on fire, along with a woman with significant burn injuries inside a residence.
Berthoud Fire Protection District firefighters were able to contain the fire to the garage, and the woman was taken to a local hospital for additional care.
Her condition is unknown at this time.
Jacob Anderson, 43, was taken into custody and booked into the Larimer County Jail for an outstanding warrant.
He now faces the additional felony charge of second degree assault.
