Minister of state for Aviation, Hadi Sirika, vows to resign if repairs on Abuja airport isn't completed within 6 weeks

Minister of State for Aviation, Hadi Sirika, has vowed to resign from office if the repairs currently being carried out on the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja runway isn't completed within the stipulated 6-weeks duration. Sirika said this when he addressed newsmen alongside Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohamed in Lagos yesterday

“I am very comfortable that we will be able to meet the targeted six weeks. We have a guarantee that it will be done. I will resign if the closure of the runway goes beyond six weeks. My reputation is at stake.”he said
