Photos: Police parades crime suspects in Bauchi state

The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested suspected drug dealer, political thugs otherwise known as Sara-Suka, a notorious kidnapper terrorizing parts of the state and recovered offensive weapons.
"Parading the suspect on Tuesday, May 2, the State Commissioner of Police Garba Baba Umar, said on April 30, at about 23:30hrs following intelligence reports, detectives attached to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) Bauchi arrested a group of Sara-Suka including their gang leader while conducting a meeting in order to disrupt the recently concluded Workers/May Day celebration in Bauchi.
 The suspects arrested include; 
Sadiq Salisu, male aged 28yrs alias Hakori (Gang Leader) 
Sadiq A. Sadiq, male aged 25yrs
Sule Dalhatu, male aged 24yrs 
Anas Maijamaa, male aged 20yrs 
Sani Muhammad, male aged 20yrs 
Abubakar A. Ahmed, male 22yrs and
Umaru Danazumi male aged 25yr, all of Bauchi State

Exhibits recovered include;

Seven (7) Sharp Knives 
One (1) Machete
Seventy Eight (78) pieces of 225ml of Tramadol Capsule suspected to be hard drugs
In another development, one Saidu Abdullahi, a notorious suspected kidnapper who has been terrorizing Dandango area of Bauchi was arrested  on April 30 by detectives attached to Anti-Kidnapping Unit. Saidu, aged 28yrs of Dandango conspired with his gang on 27/4/2017 and stormed Dandango village in Bauchi LGA and kidnapped the following persons;

Fati Alh. Kawu, female aged 22yrs
Adam Alh. Kawu, male aged 25yrs
Mallam Hassan, male aged 35yrs
They took them to Jimbiri Mountain in Bauchi LGA. Police detectives traced and rescued the victims from the suspects in good condition and re-united them with their families.

Exhibits recovered include one GSM handset used for ransom negotiation and other incriminating items. 

ARREST OF WANTED KIDNAPPER: On the 28/4/2017 at about 1230hrs following intelligence report, the command Anti Kidnapping Unit arrested one Lawali Musa male, aged 30yrs of Biji ward at Muda Lawan market. 
 Suspect is the leader of a kidnapping syndicate based at Balmo Forest renowned for a series of kidnappings in Ganjuwa and Darazo axis. He and his gang recently kidnapped and collected ransom of # 356,500 and # 60,000 from one Alh. Sani and Alh. Idi of Deji village in Darazo LGA respectively.

Suspect voluntarily confessed to the offence and is assisting the police with useful information about his accomplices. 
CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY, MISCHIEF, CRIMINAL TRESPASS AND THEFT: You will recall that on the 24/04/2017 at about 1400hrs, a group of miscreants suspected to be political thugs numbering about fifty (50) stormed the residence of one Hon. Mohammed Garba Gololo, Member representing Gololo/Gamawa Federal constituency in the National Assembly.
Suspects disrupted his Constituency event, ransacked his house and carted away items worth millions of Naira. Police teams attached to Gamawa Division rushed to the scene, dispersed the hoodlums and arrested the following suspects. 
Abdullahi Suleh, male aged 28yrs old 
Ayuba Tongu male, aged 16yrs
Mahmud Ahmed male, aged 25yrs
Salisu Musa male, aged 10yrs and
Babayo Musa male, aged 18yrs all of Gololo ward in Gamawa LGA of Bauchi State.
Exhibits recovered include;
14 (Fourteen Broken Sliding Windows
2 Doors
One Mattress and other incriminating items 
Meanwhile, suspects have been charged to the Chief Magistrate Court 5 on the 28/4/2017 and remanded in Prison custody. 
ARREST OF SUSPECTED DRUG DEALER: On 11/04/2017 following intelligence reports, detectives attached to Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) Bauchi arrested one Peter Chimez, male aged 20yrss of Garu Ward Bauchi at Bayan Gari, the suspect is specialized in selling dangerous drugs to suspected criminals and political thugs called Sara-Suka
Exhibits recovered include
133 bottle of codeine and Totoline 
13 Repanol Capsule 
13 Tramadol Capsule suspected to be hard drugs. 
Suspect was charged to Court for prosecution.

Meanwhile, the Command is determined to ensure that criminals have no hiding place in the State. It must be reemphasized here that safety and security is not the sole responsibility of security agencies alone, hence members of the public are encouraged to play a vital role towards ensuring peace by availing the Police with useful information at all times.

Finally, the Command wishes to assure citizens of its readiness to provide adequate security in the State.
