A road accident has claimed the lives of some s*x workers, who were coming back from a night show, and others in an Ondo State community. According to a Punch Metro reports, no fewer than four persons lost their lives in a fatal motor accident which occurred on Ododibo Street, in the Yaba area of Ondo town, Ondo State, at 10.30pm on Monday.
It was gathered that two of the victims were s*x workers who were coming from a night show in the town.
The accident involved a volvo car with number plate, Anambra 265 AAH, and a truck marked, Lagos AH 858 EKY.
It was gathered that the accident occurred shortly after a downpour in the area.
A source said, “The driver of the car lost control and hit a motorcycle after which it rammed into the truck that was parked on the other side of the road.”
It was gathered that the remains of the deceased were deposited in the morgue of the Ondo State Specialists’ Hospital in Ondo town.
The unit commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps in Ondo town, Mrs. Mary Oladele, who confirmed the accident, said the crash occurred as a result of speeding by drivers of the vehicles involved.
Oladele urged motorists to always obey the rules and regulations of traffic while driving.
