World pop sensation, Justin Bieber, has knocked down a photographer who was trying to get a shot of him after leaving church. Justin Bieber accidentally hit a photographer with his car after leaving church, according to police.
According to Metro UK, the Sorry singer was leaving the Saban Theatre in Los Angeles in his pick-up truck when he hit a 57-year-old photographer.
Paparazzi had scrambled around Justin’s car to get pictures when the accident occurred.
Justin, 23, got out of his car and went to help the pap, who was seen lying on the ground.
The photographer was seen writhing on the ground, while his glasses were next to him and his camera flashbulb had appeared to have broken away from his camera.
According to TMZ, Bieber stayed with the photographer for ten minutes until police and paramedics arrived.
The photographer reportedly suffered non-life threatening injuries to his lower body.
Justin spoke to police at the scene, and was not cited, with Beverly Hills Police confirming that no arrests were made and that they did not believe any criminal activity was involved.
In a video of the incident, Biebs is heard asking the photographer: ‘What can I do? The car didn’t run over you though… where did it get you?’
He also urged bystanders and paparazzi: ‘If you could just give us a little space, ok… I appreciate it.’
However, Justin was then seen shaking his head at paparazzi taking photos, asking: ‘You guys get enough footage on this?@
The Despacito singer was driven away by a friend, while another person drove his Dodge Ram pick-up.
The accident occurred last night at around 9.30pm.
While a statement cited ‘unforeseen circumstances’ as the reason for the cancellation, a source told People magazine that Biebs is suffering from ‘mental exhaustion’ after 18 months on the road.
They said: ‘He didn’t feel like he could give the rest of the tour as much energy as his fans deserve. He is a perfectionist and didn’t want to disappoint fans with some half-ass performance. He thinks his fans deserve and should expect the same performance at the end of the tour as in the beginning. He just didn’t have that passion right now. He is truly exhausted.
‘It’s a mental exhaustion that very few people understand. It seems very fair, although understandably disappointing to his fans, that he canceled the rest of the tour. It’s a mature way of saying, “Sorry, I need to focus on my own health for a bit.”‘
The initial statement read: ‘Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose World Tour concerts.
‘Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months.
‘He is grateful and honored to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across 6 continents during this run. However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.’
However, other sources are claiming that Justin’s stepback from his tour is to do with his new religious awakening.
The star has been worshipping at Hillsong Church and sources have alleged that Justin is ‘rededicating his life to Christ’.
