Neymar Replacement: Hazard Offers Himself to Barcelona as Madrid Switches Focus on Mbappe

Eden Hazard has reportedly told Barcelona he will join them this summer

As Barcelona are looking for a replacement for Neymar after he joined Paris St-Germain in a massive deal, Hazard has told Catalan club that he will join them from Chelsea this summer. Chelsea superstar player, Eden Hazard, who netted 17 goals and provided seven assists in all competitions for Antonio Conte’s side last season, has reportedly offered himself to Barcelona.

It was gathered that Hazard has told Barcelona he will join them from Chelsea this summer and snub Real Madrid in the process as the Catalan club are looking for a replacement for Neymar after he joined Paris St-Germain in a massive £200m deal.

Spanish outlet, Don Balon exclusively reported that Hazard will betray Real as he is tired of waiting for them to make their moves, adding that the 26-year-old has not hesitated in telling Barca he is ready to play for them.

The Chelsea ace who was instrumental in helping the Blues to a Premier League title and FA Cup final last season, is seeing Barcelona transfer as the ideal opportunity to move to La Liga and make an impact in Spain.

With Kylian Mbappe moving ahead of Hazard on Real’s list of transfer priorities, the Belgian has made a swift and bold decision.

Chelsea’s asking price will no longer be a problem for Barca with the £200m sale of Neymar.

As well as Hazard, Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho and PSG winger, Angel di Maria have been linked with the job of being the Brazilian’s replacement.

Barca will be looking to gain ground on rivals Real this season after losing out to them in La Liga last time out.
