In what will come across as a really shocking development, a woman has committed suicide after attending an all-night prayer session in church. The Zimbabwean police have confirmed that a 30-year-old woman recently committed suicide after attending an all-night prayer meeting in church in Marondera.
Paida Mapfumo, 30, of Sable Farm in Marondera is reported to have recently attended an all-night prayer meeting in the area.
When she arrived home early in the morning, her husband, Brighton Musemba was preparing for work before leaving her alone.
However on his return home for morning tea-break, Musemba discovered his wife’s body hanging from the roof.
A report was made at Marondera police station.
Reasons why Mapfumo committed suicide remain unknown and police investigations are also underway
