Portugal football star, Cristiano Ronaldo, has been forced to wake up from sleep by Iran fans who disturbed him in Russia. Iran supporters tried every trick in the book to prevent Cristiano Ronaldo continuing his red-hot form... by waking him up from his sleep.
The Portugal superstar even appeared to signal to the noisy fans to keep their voices down from his hotel window.

And with Iran desperate for a win over Portugal to stand any chance of progressing, their team needs every slender advantage.
So the supporters took matters into their own hands by standing outside their team hotel at night to keep them up.

They belted out songs, blew horns and banged drums loud enough for the Real Madrid superstar to appear at his hotel window.
Unbelievably Ronaldo gestured to the supporters to be silent because he wants to sleep.
The two teams go head-to-head at the Mordovia Arena later this evening in a do-or-die clash with Carlos Queiroz's side.
