A young lady had ended being brutally assaulted after she rejected the wooing of a man who approached her on the road. The incident happened at Aforajaiye Street in Obadore area of Lagos where they reside.
It was gathered that Ibrahim approached Peace to tell her of his intention to have her as a lover but unknown to him she did not want and bluntly told him so which shocked Ibrahim.

Thus, they had exchange of hot words and in the process the 29-year old Ibrahim reportedly grabbed her, rained blows on her face and she sustained serious injuries.
The matter was reported to the Igando Police Division; Ibrahim was arrested and detained.
The victim was taken to an undisclosed hospital where she was treated over the injuries she sustained during the incident.
Ibrahim was charged before the Ejigbo Magistrates court for assault.
He pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Supol Kenneth Asibor, asked for a date for trial to enable him to prove the assault since he pleaded not guilty.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. T.O.Shomade, granted Ibrahim bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 24th October, 2018.
