On Tuesday, the two men appeared in Upper Area Court in Gwagwalada, FCT. Two herdsmen have confessed to kidnapping a pregnant woman from her home in the Yaba area of Abuja's Abaji Area Council.

Mr Abubakar Wakili of Yaba in Abaji Area Council reported the matter to the Gwagwalada Area Command office on February 26th, according to the Prosecution Counsel, Dabo Yakubu.
Yakubu stated that the convicts kidnapped the victim from her home in Abaji Area Council on February 25.
He claimed that the convicts took the victim to a bush and r3ped her despite the fact that she was eight months pregnant.
Nuru Tukur, 21, and Yusufa Haruna, 29, were charged with criminal conspiracy, force, assault, and adultery by man, all of which they pleaded guilty to.
The prosecutor stated that the offense violated Penal Code Sections 96, 262, 264, and 387.
The two herders entered pleas of guilty to the charges.
The Magistrate ordered that they be held in a correctional facility pending sentencing.
The Judge, Malam Abdullahi Abdulkarim, postponed sentencing so that he could see the victim and determine her condition.
The case has been adjourned until March 22 for sentencing, according to Abdulkarim.
